Obviously my car isnt the R8. Its an A3. Smaller than i'm used to but drives well. & speed s-tronic gears and a rather disconcerting stop/start system. Supposed to save the planet i think.

I don't know how this will work but I think it's a good way to stay in touch. not much happening here is Essex this time of year. I got my new company car and at the special request of Lino and Isa i will try and post some photos.
The dealership in Chiswick was well over-the-top; 5 or 6 storeys of glass,several in house cafes, and of course we got the grand tour. This included the "museum" on the top floor with old rally and race cars going back to the 60's as well as some £120,000 R8 spider cabriolets. I was actually most impressed by the private lounge - B&O TV (about 10 feet across - surround sound -£180,000 !!!)
